Twin Cities Breweries
It's no secret that as of the last few years Minnesota hit another "beer boom" with the Surly Bill getting passed in 2011. Passing this bill meant that breweries were now legally allowed to serve pint sized beers to customers on-site, making it easier for smaller microbreweries to open their doors throughout town. Since the passing this bill in 2011, the states brewery count has more than doubled, and during those first two years of the bill passing, Minnesota had issued more than a dozen tap room licenses.
The purpose of this poster is to not only learn how many different kinds of beer each Twin Cities brewery has brewed, but to also leave the viewer with a new piece of information they m not have known about Twin Cities breweries. Function, readability, and font choice were taken into careful consideration when designing this poster.
